In 1978, the first office was founded in Antwerp, offering audit services. Later on, strong alliances were made, resulting in the offices of Brussels and Ghent, pooling the skills and multidisciplinarity of experienced financial experts, offering audit, accounting and tax services.

Mazars is an international, integrated and independent organisation, specialising in audit, accounting, tax and advisory services.
Mazars can rely on the skills of 12,000 professionals in the 55 countries which make up its integrated partnership on the five continents. Mazars also has correspondents and joint ventures in 10 additional countries.
Mazars is also one of the founding members of the Praxity alliance, which gathers 109 independent organisations and 25,000 professionals in 72 countries.
