Your mission

As a senior VAT consultant you will be seen by clients as the first contact person regarding all tax aspects related to VAT, by working closely and building excellent relationships with them. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your client portfolio. You will assist and advise clients regarding VAT matters, both national and international. Your clients include Belgian companies, multinationals, governments and non-profit organisations.
You will intensively cooperate with our accountants, legal experts and partners. You will be involved in actively mentoring and counselling the tax professionals.

Your profile

• University degree in economics or law, or a comparable background. A post-graduate tax degree is an asset.
• 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position (consulting or law firm,...)
• Strong interest in VAT and other indirect taxes. Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting is an asset.
• Fluent communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
• A true-born team player, who takes initiatives, is flexible, eager to learn and is critical minded oriented.
• Strong sense for responsibility.
• An outstanding integrity.
