WALLON REGION
1) Deferral of payment of current loans (capital and interest) granted Walloon financial institutions
There is a deferment for current loans (repayment of capital and interests) higher than 2,5 million euro, granted by the Walloon financial institutions (SRIW, SOGEPA GROUP and SOWALFIN until March 31, 2020. The deferral will likely be extended to April 30, 2020. The term of the loan will be automatically extended with the deferral period. The deferral can be requested at the financial institution.
There will be no additional costs or interests due to the deferment of payment
2) Additional guarantees granted by SOWALFIN, SONIFEX and SRIW
SME’s can request following guaranties, granted by SOWALFIN:
- 50% guarantee for current credits granted by banks, without initial SOWALFIN guarantee;
- 75% guarantee for the increase of current short-term credits granted by banks (Banks-investments);
- 75% guarantee for the new short-term credits granted by banks (Banks-investments);
Businesses in difficulty can request a 75% guarantee granted by SOGEPA for credits of maximum 2,5 million EUR.
Large businesses can ask for additional guaranties of 75% for current short-term credits between 50 – 250 million euro or the increase of those credits , granted by SRIW.
3) Request for urgent loans of maximum 200.000 EUR with a fix interest rate of 2%, granted by SOGEPA
The guarantees and urgent loans can be requested at following financial institutions:
SOWALFIN (for SME’s): analystes@sowalfin.be – info@sofinex.be
SOGEPA (for businesses in difficulty): info@sogepa.be
SRIW (for large businesses): info@sriw.be
4) "Ricochet" loan for SME and independents having cashflow problems
The Ricochet loan is a loan of maximum 45.000 EUR at a very favourable rate for businesses and independents with cash flow problems. It is possible to obtain a capital franchise of maximum 6 months.
The Ricochet loan is financed by SOCAMUT (subsidiary of SOWALFIN).
The loan cannot simply be combined with the other Walloon financial measures. For more information, you should contact your bank.
